Welcome to Grubdaily. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.grubdaily.com and related pages (the “Site”), including recipes, blog posts, collections, ingredients, and other content we publish.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Who we are
Grubdaily is a personal food blog sharing recipes, cooking notes, and musings on ingredients, cooking, and eating. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean the operator of grubdaily.com.
Using the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or other users’ enjoyment of it
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy content in a way that harms the Site or violates these Terms
- Use the Site to send spam, malware, or other harmful material

Recipes and food content
Recipes, techniques, and food-related advice on the Site are shared for general informational and entertainment purposes. Cooking involves personal judgement, local ingredients, equipment differences, and food safety considerations that we cannot control.
- Always follow good food hygiene practice. Pay particular attention when cooking for people who are pregnant, elderly, very young, or immunocompromised.
- Check ingredient labels and allergen information yourself. Recipes may include nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, shellfish, and other common allergens. We do not guarantee that any recipe is free from a particular allergen.
- Use your own judgement with foraged, wild, or uncommon ingredients. Never eat anything you cannot positively identify as safe to eat.
- Cooking times, temperatures, and yields are approximate. Always cook food thoroughly and to a safe internal temperature where relevant.
You assume full responsibility for how you prepare and consume any recipe or advice from the Site. See the limitation of liability section below.
Intellectual property and content licence
Unless otherwise stated, content on the Site — including recipes, writing, photos, graphics, and branding — is owned by Grubdaily or our licensors.
Much of the Site’s content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. That means you may share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided you give appropriate credit, link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. Please do not suggest that we endorse you or your use of the material.
Trademarks, logos, and brand identifiers (including the Grubdaily name and logo) remain our property and are not licensed under Creative Commons unless we expressly say so.
User content (comments and messages)
If you submit comments, contact messages, or other content to the Site (“User Content”), you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, display, and moderate that User Content in connection with operating the Site.
You represent that your User Content:
- Is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Does not infringe anyone else’s rights
- Is not unlawful, spammy, or harmful
We may edit, refuse, or remove User Content at our discretion, including comments that are abusive, off-topic, promotional, or unsafe.
Accounts and subscriptions
Some features, such as the email newsletter, require you to provide an email address. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your contact details up to date. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Shop and third-party purchases
Products offered through our shop may be fulfilled by third parties such as Shopify. Additional terms from those providers may apply to purchases, shipping, returns, and payments. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party checkout or payment platforms beyond what the law requires.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
